Refund Policy
Due to the nature of tax services, all fees are non-refundable once the return has been prepared and approved
for
filing. If you are not satisfied with our service before filing, please notify us. We will work with you to
address the issue or offer a partial credit at our discretion.
Shipping or Delivery Policy
You will receive copies of your completed tax return(s) via secure portal or physical delivery (upon request).
Return Policy
We do not sell or offer physical products. Therefore, we do not have a return policy. Please refer to the refund
policy above for service-related matters.
Cancellation Policy
Client-Initiated Cancellations
- Before Work Begins: You may cancel services at no cost before any work has started. A full
refund will be issued if payment was made in advance.
- After Work Begins: If services are canceled after work has started but before final
delivery, a partial refund may be issued, minus a fee for the time already spent.
- Over 50% Complete: If more than half of the return has been prepared, no refund will be
issued. A summary of completed work may be provided upon request.
- After Completion: Once a return is completed or filed, no refunds will be issued.
Firm-Initiated Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel service if:
- Required documents are not received within 14 calendar days
- The client is unresponsive during the process
- We detect a conflict of interest, ethical issue, or suspected fraud/misrepresentation
In such cases, if no work has started, a full refund will be issued. If work has begun, a partial refund may be
offered based on the amount of work completed.
How to Cancel
To cancel your tax preparation service:
- Email: mail@eliteprotax.com
- Include your full name, reason for cancellation, and written request
- Phone requests must be followed by written confirmation
Turnaround for Refunds
If eligible, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after written confirmation of cancellation.
No-Show or Non-Response Policy
If a client misses a scheduled appointment or fails to respond within 14 days of a document request, the service
may be canceled automatically. A reactivation fee may apply to resume service.
